In 2018 one of 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women Honouree with over 30 years experience as a senior technology, marketing and strategy lead executive with Bell Canada and other publicly traded companies. Former Governor of Sheridan College and Vice-Chair, Strategy & Entrepreneurship Program Advisory Council, Ryerson University. She continues her decades of service as an active community leader in the social sector with a focus on social innovation, sustainable enterprises, the next generation of senior leaders and strategic large-scale social impact.



CEO Green Stripe Naturals, with over 33 years international business and Canadian capital markets experience as Board member and President of a number of publicly traded companies, investment banker, certified in corporate governance and finance.


CPA, CA, CEO, Canada CFOs Inc. with over 40 years experience in finance, business and accounting.






President, Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Suppliers Council with over 20 years experience leading national non-profit organizations.



Chief Financial Officer, Genworth MI Canada (operating as Sagen MI Canada) a $7 billion federally regulated insurance company and over 30 years of experience in financial management and accounting.




Director of Issuer Engagement at the Canadian Securities Exchange with over 18 years of capital markets experience, 10 years as a stock exchange executive and 8 years as both a professional and commodities trader. He is a graduate of Princeton University and is married with two children.


CEO, National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association. Shannin is Cree/Inninow from Fort Albany First Nation of the Mushkegowuk Nation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Carleton University and has his Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and Aboriginal Economic Development certificate from the University of Waterloo. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation and the Manager of Aboriginal Affairs and Sustainability with De Beers Canada.  Shannin is an economic empowermentor and the Indigenous network assists 1500 businesses annually while he has directly assisted more than 250 Indigenous businesses with mentorship and financing.
